I've read in some forums that the factory TIM on EVGA GTX470 sucks, so im thinking about changing it. This card comes with a limited life time warranty, so if i change my card's TIM will this void my warranty??

Changing TIM won't void warranty, breaking the card in the process does.

Theres whole threads about changing the TIM on the evga boards. It's definitely recommended.

If your card didn't come with one, make sure to request a highflow bracket(free plus $5 shipping) from EVGA. It appears to cut a few degrees off my card.
