Evga GTX 660 2gb vs 3gb?

At first i thought "wow , then i would defiantly go with the 3gb" But then the memory bus was only 192-bit memory bus. Would the 3 gb graphics card have any significant fps increase in games vs the 2gb model?😕

Only in instances where 2 gigs of vram are not enough. Generally speaking, with the resolution you'll likely be playing at (1080p), 2 gigs of vram are plenty. I would anticipate the card running out of graphical horsepower down the road before games start to push beyond 2 gigs of vram at 1080p and no AA.

My resolution is 1980X1080 and i am talking about the GTX 660 (non-ti) And i thought for games like skyrim, wouldn't the extra memory increase the fps a bit? and then 3 gigs is more future proof right?
