EVGA GTX 1060 6GB + 600B PSU (600W) for $200

Sounds like a pretty good deal, but I'm tapped out this month already, and BF still hasn't officially hit yet. Although Newegg's Black November sales have been pretty delicious.

In fact, it seems like prices were really low the first week of Nov., and then they've slowly been rising on some / most things, as we head towards BF.

I guess they seem to think that most consumers are "stupid", and ONLY shop on BF, and they might be right.

I've seen Newegg also jack up prices on Memorial Day sales.
 
Yes...some of these regular prices are suspiciously high, I usually run a price search to see if it really is a good deal.

However the OP deal seems pretty good considering how crazy GPU prices soared.
 
Seems that it was out of stock already yesterday. I can't find anywhere to add it to the cart. I still don't get why 1060 cards are so over-priced.
 
Sticker shock here, but I don't know squat about this stuff. I picked up an EVGA 1050 3GB DDR5 slightly used a week ago for under $100 shipped. I'm not a gamer (presently), I just want something to drive my new 40" 4K display and maybe render Netflix 4K streaming (will see what's what when gigabit kicks in in my neighborhood... any minute...???).

The card at Newegg is a DT card which if I'm not mistaken cannot be overclocked at all, if you care about such things. The EVGA site deal came with a free power supply too, but the deal is now over. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $200 for a 1060 right now. The RX 570 and 580 cards are dropping fast with the release of the 590. Glad I didn't buy a used RX 580 a month ago for $175!

Not being able to overclock is not a deal breaker for me. Does anyone know if this can be overclocked? I'm going to buy one, but it would be nice to know if it's possible.
