ENJOY!

http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-3975-RX

The new EVGA ACX 2.0+ cooler brings new features to the award winning EVGA ACX 2.0 cooling technology. A Memory MOSFET Cooling Plate (MMCP) reduces MOSFET and Memory temperatures and optimized Straight Heat Pipes (SHP) reduce GPU temperature by an additional 5C. ACX 2.0+ coolers also feature optimized Swept fan blades, double ball bearings and an extreme low power motor, delivering more air flow with less power, unlocking additional power for the GPU.

Thats the diff between their 2.0 and 2.0+ versions they are selling for the same price on the site. In case youre wondering since they are selling both, I posted the better of the two.

Honestly you can buy used (non refurb) 970s for under 200 right now, seems expensive for b stock at this point.

OK, but do they come looking like new and a one year warranty?
Just bought 2 for a friend, and they were perfect.....

I see $299 after rebate and for me, for the SAME card, saving money is still saving money....

And these $200 below cards are they these super clocked ones with dual bios, and 0db idle running ones???

Newegg is selling the same card for $279 with free shipping...

But for me, I have to pay tax on it, which makes it MUCH higher buying it from them :p

I am not knocking the deal or EVGA refurbs. I have a GTX 980 myself. However......

Add in EVGA Shipping charge. The fact you dont get ANY extras that come standard with a new card(SLI bridge, adapters etc etc) AND a 3 year warranty.

You get a New card for LESS......

I didnt say the same card. I said New cards are running......

Honestly a 970 is pretty much a 970 especially if you are on a budget.......

I hate rebates, if youre gonna give me a deal, give it to me now, not later, for I got the cash in my pocket now to save money, not spend more, and later to wait 3 months to get a lousy 20-30 bucks back. So for me Id rather spend $259 now and screw the rebate, then pay $289 and wait 3 months for a rebate card. Yeah, no 3 year warranty, but really, if it lasts past a year, and you dont beat the hell out of it, you not gonna really need it. Ive never had a problem yet, and really if I did have one, just another reason to beat the old lady up to get me something new thats better maybe at that time then, for a few years have past, and there is always going to be something better at that time then what I just blew up :D

The warranty kills B-stock deals. Giving up 2 years of warranty isn't worth it for me. Plus the fact that these cards are not necessarily new. I wouldn't doubt that some of these cards were returned for having excessive coil whine, that has been a known issue with 970's.

Had similar discussion on previous b stock post, the couple dollars you save comes at the cost of reduced warranty length. For most this is likely not a good trade.

EVGA warranties transfer to the second owner, and new 970s have a 3 year warranty. So even if the individual bought the gpu on release day (sept 2014) they still have over a year left on their original warranty.

I had a GXT 670 and upgraded to this exact make/model and I didn't see much improvement so I sold it after a couple months and went back to my 670. Honestly, this deal is cold. Wait for the 1070 or 1080 and spend the extra money. Or wait for the 980Ti to come down to this price range... it really wont be too long.

It's a smart move on the part of the seller. A lot of people pull the trigger on a MIR deal and then forget to do the MIR part. If only 20% forget, that's millions of dollars of "free money" in their pocket vs applying the discount at the sale.

I suck at MIR promotions and I know this about myself... therefore I simply avoid them at all costs unless it's a stupidly good deal.

Even so. No mail in rebate the new card then. Add the 3 year warranty with all accessories. $285 shipped.

Refurb 970, 1 year warranty, no accessories. $277 shipped.

Ummmmmm ?
