In my past experience Newegg has been good about it. They consider .99 to be a dollar

Weird, the "recommended" price should be 199.99, maybe NE is capitalizing on having it available early... It'll probably come down soon enough though, seems like a decent deal if it can be gotten for 185.

Back to 199.99 but $5 shipping applies. Not sure if it's waved with premier or shop runner.

But then it says exclusive precision xoc. Isn't it available for free from EVGA website to everyone.

No, EVGA Precision has always been just for EVGA customers. The fact that it installed for other cards and ran, and was pir8'ed plenty, was just gravy I guess.

So the 6GB seems to have quite a markup compared to 3GB. It's more than just more RAM though but it doesn't make sense when compared to the 1070.

You can get it as a first time customer at Jet.com by forfeiting free return shipping, using a debit card and then using the TRIPLE15 promo code for $168.40. I know 3GB isn't the first choice of anyone, but for 1080p that's a pretty decent amount of GPU power for a relatively low price.

Plenty of stock and prices are being discounted already, at least in Canada.
