Is the GT 710 a good graphics card for someone who casually plays video games (20+ hrs a week) and just wants them to run around 30 fps or higher?

Its not really a gaming gpu. It isnt much faster than intel haswell iGPU. It might handle league of legends on low/medium settings. But no good for AAA titles.

not really, this card would only be acceptable for old games at lower settings;
buy at least the RX 460 if you want to play current games at moderate/low settings.


this card you listed is likely slower than the current intel IGPs (like the 630)

You haven't mentioned which games you want to run. Minimum i would recommend is GT 730 gddr5 which costs around $60. Or a used 750ti for around the same price. Or a new rx460 for $100.

Depends on the games but that card is not at all meant for gaming. Facebook games sure, but almost any modern standalone install game (even dota 2) would barely run on that.
