EVGA Classified NEX1500?

There is a banner ad running on these forums for this PSU.

I thought it looked interesting. Severe overkill for most people, but interesting.

I already own a 1050W Silver modular (or semi-modular) PSU, so I'm not in the market for this one, but I thought I would start a thread about it, in case someone is.

It has EIGHT 6+2 VGA connectors. Along with USB control over some of the PSU's operation.

mmm, 8x 8-pin VGA connectors? That is some sweetness. I doubt I'll ever need that, but man good stuff.

I'd be curious to see who makes the internals and what the efficiency is like.

So far its a great PSU. Does require a 220 line for the PSU.

The OEM is Etasis.
Overall it's a decent unit.
It does not REQUIRE a 240VAC circuit however that makes efficiency a few points better (this applies to most supplies).

Regulation is not as good as top units such as the Corsair AX 1200i.

Matter of fact you would be better off with the latter unless the sleeved cables appeal to you!
