These and more!

EVGA B Stock

8800 GTS (G92) - $99
8800 GTS KO (G92) - $109
8800 GTX - $129
8800 ULTRA - $159
9800 GTX - $159
9800 GTX KO - $169
9800 GTX SSC - $169
9800 GX2 - $229
9800 GX2 KO - $239
9800 GX2 SSC - $239

Saw a couple of BFG 9800GTX's on clearance at BB for $155 (So Cal, Irvine)... That would be a better bet, if your store has the same deal...

9800 GX2 SSC edition look like they sell for around $350 on ebay

Hell, you could buy a whole bunch of them for $240 from the evga site, stress test them to make sure they are reliable, then sell them on e-bay to make a profit, I searched all the ebay completed listings for the 9800 GX2 SSC edition but it only turned up a few, a new one that sold for $400, and 2 used ones that sold for $351 and $285....might be worth it.

9800 GX2 SSC - $239

That is a good deal. The only thing is that it has a 90 day warranty and ships with nothing but the card itself (no biggie)

the lack of a warranty would scare me some after spending $240. I am sure with my luck it would stop working on the 91st day. 😀

I've got my EVGA 9800GX2 OC'd to 713/2370 perfectly stable with lower temps than stock speeds thanks to Rivatuner controlling the fan speed manually, that is a beast of a card. At $230 it's almost worth buying a second one and a beastly PSU to run quad SLI...

EVGA is now selling B-Stock product at a reduced cost! B-Stock simply means that customers have returned these products to us. We have tested all the products available and found that they meet or exceed their performance level. Since these are no longer "new products" we are giving you an opportunity to purchase these cards at a great price. These products will ship with a 90 day limited warranty. All B-Stock purchases are subject to a 30 day return policy.
All B-Stock products are shipped as Card/Mainboard ONLY, no accessories.

So, they tested those returns and found them to be good, which is why they are offering a 3 month instead of lifetime warranty and no accessories? disappointing.
Not to mention they are all overpriced.

There is a 4850 for 110, a 9800GT for 110$, a 9800GTX for 140, and a 4870/GTX260 @ 210$ @ newegg beating the pants off of those warranty less open boxed items price and performance at the same time, and they all have warranty and accessories.

This is not even the cheapest 9800GTX from newegg (the zotac has that honor at 140$).
But this XFX one comes with all the accessories and a double lifetime warranty (you and the person you sell it to used) for the same 160$ as the one from eVGA's site being sold as board only with no warranty.

I agree all of them except the 9800gx2 are bad deals. The 9800gx2 is cheap but your spending over $200 with basiclly no warranty so the deal becomes not so good.

A Gx2 SSC though for $239 is pretty darn tempting 😀

well, they are mostly really bad deals.

jzodda :I looked over the 9800GX2 as you pointed out and it is a good deal for someone interested in a GX2... the cheapest on the egg is 280. Thanks for pointing it out (i guess they are not ALL bad deals).

That G92 GTS for $99 looks hot to me. Considering you can't even get a 8800gt for that much.

Maybe their "B" stands for bad :Q

ditto on what taltamir said, their price looks ho-hum to me for the midrange cards.

Why when you can get a 4850 for $110 that beats that snot out of it in terms of performance. I think you can skip an extra meal and McDonald's to afford a 4850 over a 8800 GTS. One that is new, with a lifetime warranty, and all accessories to boot.
