Evga 9600GSO & "Unsupported Video" Issues

Okay I've loaded aystem to a co-worker to see if he could use it with his Toshiba 46" for games. He has called to say it shows XP loading but when it finishes the "unsupported video" error shows up. Now is this a setting on the TV or beyound the ability of the http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814130356]9600GSO[/url]? It is mated to a Abit NF-M2 nView w/ Opty 1210 that has no problem running my dell 24 or LG 19 widescreen.

What kind of connection is said person using? I'm sure they could boot in safe mode, select the right monitor/settings and get it to work.

BTW I have the same card in this system at the moment.

D-Sub or component? Either way, he should be able to pick the right mode/refresh from safe mode.

I had that problem during an aborted htpc experiment with a 9600gso and a samsung 61" dlp. Booting in safe mode, as mentioned earlier, enabled me to fix said issue.
