Just buy the cheaper EVGA one. You can overclock it and bring it up and past the XFX one anyways. You can also flash with modified bios that increases the core voltage to reach higher overclocks.

If you sell your video cards whenever you upgrade to new ones, I'd go with the XFX. If you don't sell your stuff, go with the EVGA.

Both EVGA and XFX have lifetime warranties, but the XFX one is transferable to the person that gets the video card after you. EVGA has the step-up program which might be useful especially since the rest of the 9xxx series is coming out w/in the next 90 days.

The step up program is the reason I got a 9600GT cheap right now, so I can step up to the 9800GTX or whatever it might be called =)

Do you have any idea how much the 9800's will cost?
