L=Zalman ZNF-100]http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118029[/L]

Thermalright hr-03 Rev. A

Those are teh two that come to mind first. I'm very sure there are others but, I like the zalman for a system thats going to need to be quiet and the thermalright with a 92mm fan is among if not the best cooling for that card you're going to get.

im probably goingto end up getting the thermalright V2 since i read some reviews and it said they were getting about 35~38 idle and 47~53 load temps. that will def make a difference i hope since the load temp is less than idle.

The thermalright v2 is a great cooler just keep a couple things in mind with it.

1) it takes up AT LEAST two slots depending on the fan you instal on it.

2) it's exposed copper so if you live in a very humid climate it could start to rust over time unlike it's nickel plated counterparts.

i could not justify spending $40 or so, for a cooler for what probably is a $120 video card. the 8600gts cooler isnt even noisy since its pwmm...

i'd say save your money , put it towards another card in the futre

If you want a less expensive route, I just got a zalman znf-100 for my new 8500gt for my HTPC and with no fans it's running my card 10C lower at idle and 14C lower at load right out of the box. $30 at SVC.
