I'm running two evga 7900 CO Superclocks on my board:

http://www.evga.com/products/moreinfo.asp?pn=256-P2-N565-AX&family=22

Does anyone know if replacing the stock cooling and going to a Zalaman VF900-Cu:

http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/view.asp?idx=192&code=013

For cooling would be a wise choice and really improve cooling?

Personally the copper heatsink fan combo on the 7900 Superclock seems really lame if you've seen them.

The bottom only has a half moon shaped slot to allow air through to cool, I really can't understand the wisdom behind this, all I can chalk this up to is a poor chioce was made here.

ALOHA

P.S. Any other great cooling choices, passive that is? Also Artic Cooling is not available for the 7900 GT yet.

Think he means the Accelero S series. The Accelero S1 is made specifically for 7900GT's while the S2 is listed as being a high end 7900 cooler while the S3 is a X1300 and X1600 cooler. Availability...June. Sorry but it's another roughly 3 months before we'll see this available. Hardly a competitor to the Zalman VF900 which is available now. The KuFormula VF1 Plus is a new vga cooler that bears consideration.

Yes well the S series will be out in June. And by then, will they be worth it compared to the Zalman, only time will tell.

I'm running SLI, I can't use the KuFormula VF1 Plus, to big, and I hope there is enough room even with the Zalman.

Now that I checked the specs, there would be only 1/4" to 1/2" between my video cards and the soundcard. So I'm not to sure how that is going to play into putting more heat onto the other cards.

Hell my vid cards only goes to about 58c-65c when gaming with the stock heatsink/fan on it, and they have a lifetime warranty, so when I think about that, why would I really need to mess with it, and waste the money, hmm, good point.

I'm not sure a 10c temperature drop is going to do anything to improve gaming performance.
