This deal is still alive! I just checked and the price is currently $270 (after $20 instant, and $20 MIR) with free 2nd day shipping!

Does anyone know if this is still coming with Quake4? I don't see anything in the item description about Quake4 being included... just curious.

EDIT: The eVGA MIR specifies that the card must be purchased prior to 1/31/06... I've gotta order this tomorrow!

Edited again for correct rebate expiration date. 🙂

just in case it isn't obvious to all, epsil0n00 meant 01/31/06 in his post above regarding expiration of the $20 manufacturer's MIR

Can someone please explain all the different variations of the 7800GT running around? what is CO or the various clock speeds, and which one is the one to get?

I'll be looking at picking one up in the next week or so.

Stolen from another thread...

N515-AX - Regular clocked EVGA 7800 GT (445/1070) with the reference Aluminum cooler.
N518-AX - Same as 515-AX, except it comes with an extra box.
N517-AX - "CO" Version, clocked at 470/1100 and has a Copper cooler with a larger fan (the same fan thats on the GTX).
N516 - This is the "CO SE", but its clocked at 460/1100 and it also comes with the same cooler as the regular "CO" version.

BTW, I purchased the N516 from ZipZoomFly for $289.99 this weekend. Hopefully the $20 premium over the N515 is worth it.

ARGH! They raised the price by $10... so now it's only $10 less than the higher-clocked CO version. Dang it!!! It's almost the same price it was in the original post... except now you miss out on the free game. This deal may have just become colder than it was to begin with...

Edit: I shoulda jumped on this last night!

The nice thing about eVGA is they will allow you to put an nVSilencer on your card, but will still honor the lifetime warranty as long as there is no physical damage. Unfortunately I bought a BFG without know that they would not allow the heatsink swap.
