This deal on 7800GT might be even hotter if you will properly use the eVGA's 90 day trade-up progam. That will place trade-up by December..., prices could fall in 3 month to make it a 7800GTX for $399.... :) if not something better.

Seriously. The amount of money paid for those 6800 Ultra's you could have gotten two 7800GTs WITH SLI motherboards.

Yup

21lbs, atleast that is what my fedex tracking # says.

weird huh??? no way a motherboard and video card weigh 21lbs, but that is what it says.

The reason I wanted to ask was because I really don't want to pay the tax. I have a friend in Wisconsin that is willing to get the package and have it reshipped to CA. But given the information (21lbs), I'm going to bite the bullet and just pay the extra $28. In fact, I just checked UPS and it's going to cost $25.41 to have it reshipped to CA. So it's pretty much useless to even consider the idea. $387.93 ain't too bad but it's not better than $359.99 if you know what I mean. =(

This is a very nice price.

I jumped on the BFG Tech 7800GT OC when it launched and that was 330.00 and I had to buy 10bucks in CDR's and 10shipping. Here you are getting a mobo too.

Yeah...I finally gave in and picked up this package. I'm not impressed at all with the mobo and the OCing and/or memory bugs, but hopefully Jetway/EVGA will release a BIOS update within a month or so which will solve some pretty serious issues.

I didn't buy RAM with relatively tight timings so I could "relax" the timings due to BIOS issues;)

Thats weird, my shipment had the exact same weight. 21 lbs. Yet I got a Retail Processor, Hard drive, and 2 sticks of RAM along with this bundle. I even got a good deal on shipping it seems.

I'm NOT very happy! I just received my motherboard and the retail package is open. Anyone else receive an open motherboard?

I did as well Budarow, I just actually posted at ocforums in the vendor discussion complaining. Both of the "Inspected for Quality" stickers were cut open. I am a little annoyed since this is a NEW package and not refurb. Hopefully this isn't a board someone had issues with and returned....

This kind of crap really makes me mad! I AVOID used/refurbished products because my time is worth hundreds of times more than the few $$$ I'd save buying used/refurbished products. ESPECIALLY with something as critical as a motherboard.

Everything in the package is unopened except for a molex extension which is unpackaged and lose and the manual has a folded over corner.

If this is "used" there's a good chance someone changed their mind rather than actually installing the board...I may give it a try, it would just suck if the thing is defective AND newegg sent it out a second time to another customer.

I really like Newegg, but I DON'T like receiving "open" products. Anything but a mobo, wouldn't be too big a deal (i.e., it's the bloody heart of a PC MAN!!;)

Received the package from Newegg yesterday and both items were still sealed. Whew! My 3200+ from eWiz won't be here until tomorrow so that gives me time to read up on some of the mobo bugs a few of you have mentioned. Hopefully it will play nice with the rest of the components and allow me to get up to at least 10x240 'cuz I'd settle for that with a free mobo. :)

Received mine today. Good stuff although i have to say FedEx are a bunch of idiots. I came home to a box sitting out my house. Ive had to sign for a book before but you leave 500 dollars worth of stuff outside. This wouldnt be so bad if it werent for the fact i live in an open apartment complex with computer geeks living next door. If only they knew

lITTLE HELP FOR ANYBODY USEING A SATA DRIVE .

DO NOT USE THE 6.66 CHIPSET DRIVERS.

USE THE NEWER 8.12 BETAS.

The 6.66 caused corruption of data on my maxtor 16mb cache sata2 NCQ drive 300gb

with a ide drive i had no problems at all, so it is definately the sata drivers in the 6.66 nforce drivers.

and no i did not install the nvidia ide drivers.
