eVGA 6800GT and my blinking screen

My system is in my sig.

My card is a dual dvi card so I hooked my monitor up to the other port and it's fine, no blinking whatsoever. Is it safe to assume that my card is defective?

When I hook my monitor up to the other dvi port every once in a while my screen just blanks out and reappears. Then sometimes I can see what looks like some kind of interference.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a defect. You'll get a RMA from eVGA but the turn around might be a couple weeks.

I believe it's a known problem w/6800 cards and some LCD monitors. Look up NvNews, I think they have big thread on this issue.

The thing that is strange is it works perfectly fine on the other DVI port.
