It clearly says extreme edition right on the box in the picture...

haha it looks like its the ultra box with a crappy extreme sticker on it lol

im not saying it isnt an extreme... but if thats the extent of the packaging thats a rip lol

BTW, "One year limited warranty with registration"? Did eVGA just drop their warranty period by a ton, or is this just for these "extreme" 6800Us?

If we did, no ATI card would ever be purchased because the BBA boxes are small, flimsy, and dull.

um maybe the box is like that because the extreme is just a regular ultra but with clocks of 450/1200.

They probalby had no idea what they were going to call it so hence the sticker. It's real so i don't know why people are gawking over the box.
 
They are joking about the box. Nobody cares about it. Nice card and congrats. I've not upgraded my PC since the GF4 was king. I wish I had that card in my PC.
 
What's with those 22 fps Farcry screens? What settings are you running those at?

Nice 3dmark03 score, the 6800s seem to have a slight (200-300 pt) advantage in that.

Are you overclocking past the 450 mhz?
 
If that's a true indication of the load temp then wow it's a good 10 or 11 degrees C cooler than the x800pro's under load...and this is the extreme edition, so it's already running fast right? I'm starting to like this 2 slot solution saves me the trouble of an aftermarket mod...
