EVGA 670 4GB in stock newegg

85$ premium...,for guys with multiple monitors it can make sense but for the rest of us not so much.

Well it does come with backplate so maybe more like a $65 premium. Good for people that plan to sli on multiple monitors.

Just grabbed two for my trip monitor setup, will keep an eye on memory usage and see if it was worth all the extra dosh.

Would 4g would help with my 1440p 2560x1440 reso Catleap, or just for multiple monitors?
it might help in a case or two if running some mods. really though you will need to be running sli at that res to run settings that will go beyond 2gb of vram.

You're definitely more comfortable with having more video ram onboard. There are already games that are starting to use more video ram when available. If not for more FPS, then for less frequent disk access. The prime example is BF3. More games to follow. If I were in the market for a high-end card, I'd get at least 3 gigs, even though... 2 gigs is enough for todays games.
