Go to a different store. Or go when the manager is on lunch/dinner. Or you could try what the OP did and call CSR and PM that way.
 
What piss me off was that the first manager was willing to meet me half way on the PM. Meaning I am eligible for the PM but they won't do it since it was such a big hit. Here's to dedicated idiots.

you'l will feel better after you hear a little of one of my past stories, might even make you laugh...

- The Situation (im PMing a WD HDD, buying at CC, pming from SamsClub)... Iv done this multiple times in the past but someone in my area must have F'd up and alerted them, because this time i went in, they didnt let me.

- What happened - So i go in to PM a HDD after the Promo has ended... Manager tells me they cant PM to holesale clubs (i pull out the email confirmation printout from HQ telling me they do PM to holesale clubs including Sams), Then he gives me some BS about that he cant PM items if it goes bellow CC's cost on the item, so he went to the back to check. Came back with a different manager who said they cant PM to Holesale clubs unless im a member (so i pulled out a old membership card that wasnt even active but had my name) and they looked at it and said OK. he told the manager to PM it, the manager started, and then said the system is telling him that SamsClub Is not a valid Store for Price Match and that the computer wouldnt let him. (I told him to just bypass it, do the PM manually) He said he would but the computer wouldnt let him. (I wish someone could of took a picture of the look on my face at that moment).

that was the store closest to my house, i took it to one of the other CC's near me to PM it... but i know all the stores comunicate with each other locally and they would all stop allowing it soon, so i dont even try to PM sertain Items there anymore.
 
Thats funny how you mentioned they do PM to wholesale clubs. They gave me the excuse that they dont PM to wholesale clubs or outlet stores.

One of the sale lady kept on repeating to me how they dont price match to outlet stores and I just kept on asking her, where on the price matching policy does it say that. She even went further saying that you cant fit the whole policy on there, so i asked where does it say "see blah blah for further details and restrictions." If you cant point that out, then stfu.

i wont be shopping from cc anymore. i know BB is bad but at least they bent over and took one when they made a mistake (coupon for $90 off laptop memory and installation).

Man, I was going to try that $129.99 TD price, but we don't have a TD B&M store here and I wasn't going to press my luck any further. I was happy to get a PM at all. Congrats! I think you made out the best out of us all. :beer:
 
I didnt even know there was a TD outlet B&M anywere in the world. i thought it was just online (though i never buy from them anyway).

But yea anyone not in that area of the TD outlet store cannot try PMing to TD. for most of the country TD is Online only. and CC's policy says it doesnt PM to Online prices. (that is online only, not online showing local prices).
