EVGA 6600gt for $108 #*DEAD*#

Price is before rebate! Went through whole purchase process and total was 117 and change with tax (in store pickup). I backed out though when I realized it was PCIe.

I've bought from MicroCenter B&M before...no problems. I don't see why the website would be that much different.

I think it's kinda like Outpost.com and Fry's. Fry's is (I dare say it) ok, but I heard horror stories from Outpost.com.

Perhaps...I've never ordered from Outpost or MicroCenter online, so I can't say for sure.

If you have one in your area so that you can pick it up, theres absolutely no reason not to jump on this deal. I'm thinking of jumping on it myself, thanks :cookie:
 
Thanks johnnqq, we just bought my sister a new computer and she really wanted to play Sims 2 but with the onboard (POS) video they have, it doesn't play well. This should do the trick.

hah np. if you ordered one, can you just post again about how your experience went? (aka arrival, packaging, customer service, and if the card works 🙂 )

i'm building a computer soon and this fills my video card gap perfectly.
 
I think, unless you order for in-store pickup and will be getting there within the hour, that you're highly dillusional if you think there's even a faint chance you're going to be getting this card.
