evga 650i ultra on newegg

is no one but me interested in this?
Is there a better mobo in the same price range then this? I kind liked anandtechs review of this one...and the fact that it supports full ntune functionality.

For me its not really much of a money thing. I don't want to buy a mobo for $200. I did that once and didn't use half of its features(not counting overclocking). I don't need SLI. I prefer 1 card. Also I won't mind if my overclock is 90% of what it would be with say a 680i. Also I like the fact that the eVGA has full support of nTune features. The windows bios controls for the Asus like boards look really weird...like I'm at an arcade or something. Whereas nTune looks more professional. I know this is just aesthetics..not that important compared to what the hardware is like. Anandtech, however thought that the hardware part of the board was good. So I probably will shoot for this one too...

Oh...I wouldn't wait for newegg reviews...can you really trust them? I heard newegg filters their reviews,

Me too I'm really looking forward to these cards coming out in canadian market 😛

Ncix don't have them yet and I cannot wait LOL

This is really weird: The MSRP's on both the A1 and T1 models just went up by $20 on evga's website.

Yea just saw that myself. PC Perspective's review is where I saw the difference in the warranties. The A1 also includes a printed manual while the T1 is on a cd as well as the warranties and usb ports.

Just picked this up from ZZF for $98.99 (AR) along with the E6600.
I'm building a new semi-kick-ass gaming rig with these.
What RAMs do you recommend for this mobo.
Tempting on these Corsair 2gbx2 sticks

I bought it. I like it pretty good so far, although i have an issue with the Sata raid conflicting with my IDE raid pci card... need to figure that out

We'll see how it goes...

haha. just kidding... i had to cancel the order. I put a huge order in b/c I finally got some cash in my pocket so I was building a new desktop for my office and a HTPC, but my car died... so much for the computers...

ZZF had it for $89 then jacked it up to $99 the next day. I believe the northbridge is the same as the 680i. (But the SB is different, no biggie) Just make sure to cool everything well and this board should give everything that 680i gives. (except SLI, of course)
