I've got an eVGA 5900 Ultra and here is the rest of my system:
Shuttle AN35 mobo
AMD XP 2500+
1GB PC 2700
Flowers 350w PSU
Audigy 2 ZS
WD 250gb HDD
Maxtor 160gb HDD
16X DVD
52X CDRW
4X DVDRW
Win XP Pro

Here is the problem...when I play Final Fantasy XI I'm getting artifacts on the screen when I use the invisible spell or when there are avatars on the screen. I've also noticed things like walls don't seem connected (I think its called clipping). Ordinarily I would think its just lousy programming, but my kid has the same game on his computer and he has none of these things and his system is not nearly as strong as mine!! So, what do you gurus think it is??
By the way, I'm using most recent drivers for the card and have even gone back to older drivers as well...

Got a temp reading...it doesn't seem to be hot...only showing 29C. Just so you know, this is happening right off the bat. Its not like its happening after 30 or 40 minutes of play...so, this tends to make me feel its not a heat issue..

Desktop Temps don't mean much as FX cards underclock and undervolt themselves in 2d mode. You can use RivaTuner to record your in game temps.

I still don't think its a temp issue tho...I can play FarCry just fine..besides, I have my sides off the case and have an extra fan blowing in....I just think its a temp issue...
