Everytime I boot, Windows does a Scan disk on my D: Drive....

....right before going into the welcome screen. Its been going on for over a week now. Evertime I boot, doesnt fail. Even if I let it go all the way through. I've checked the boot up processes and dont see anything suspicious.

Any suggestions? Anyone seen this before?

Do your backups immediately, it could be a sign of a failing disk.
Run chkdsk manually. Maybe with a /R or atleast /F. Not sure if that will help though...

EDIT: Check event viewer for any error messages too.

Yeah, I had this problem a while ago.
Boot with the XP CD into the Recovery Console.

chkdsk /p d:

(Yes, it is /p in Recovery Console).
Run that two or three times. Reboot.

Your problem should be gone.
