Just thought I'd throw in a couple that have brought me down in the past:

1) if something is a problem, frickin' tell the person around whom it centers. Don't tell your friends or think it'll pass over when it's actually festering; talk about it. Along the same lines, if you want to talk about something, bring it up yourself. We probably won't.

2) reading into your relationship from a conversation about, say, baseball, is absolutely not allowed. We speak off the cuff; we may not mean every word. Bringing it up later with your interpretation is strictly illegal.

3) Don't get fantastically attached after the first date. We're not perfect, though we all think we're pretty damn great.

Yep, lesson is, don't ask a guy for his opinion. However, if we ask you if you like the dress (and it's something we already own and we're about to walk out the door), we're asking you to please tell us we look pretty. Saying, tell me I look nice, is direct but pointless.

I'm sorry, but that's utter bullsh!t. How many times has a woman said to a guy (usually minutes before they're about to leave) "You're not going to wear that, are you?"

That's the exact same thing as them saying "What you're wearing is retarded and you'll look like a fool" which really means, "You're going to embarass me so please change".

If you asked for our opinion and your dress looks like crap then be prepared to hear it. If women have no tact then why should men?

Well I don't say those kinds of things, but then,if it's a fancy occasion I generally helped pick out the clothing, pressed them and laid them out for him... leave nothing to chance ! :)

I have had this conversation with my g/f more than once:

her: "How do I look?" (hopefull, showing off outfit)
me: "You look great!" (big grin, sincerity, meaning)
her: "You don't like it..." (crestfallen)
me: "Yes, I do, I really do!" (earnest)
her: "No, you don't.." (unsure)
me: "If I didn't like it, I would tell you.." (logical)
her: (changes to new outfit)
me: (rolls eyes, gives up, leaves room)

Your mistake was in waiting for her to say "How do I look?" if you'd beaten her to the punch and told her how great she looked everything would have been all good, he who hesitates is forced to suffer thru an outfit change :)

1. If a guy repeatedly asks you out, just say yes while he still likes you. You probably won't have an opportunity like this in the future, who are you to be so picky?
2. Stop talking so damn much. yakyakyakyakyakyakyakyak
3. Stop whining

Just freaking tell him, he'll get over it and move on rather just kind of beating around the bush. 2. being lonely isn't a bad thing meeting over the internt is ok in a highly public place. ALWAYS show up early. 3. don't play with our minds, most men I know take things either at face vaule, or we don't beleive you at all becaue woman do play our minds. 4. if you ask for an opinion ask for it. and don't be upset when we give you an aswer that you don't like. You *ASKED* for our opinion remeber? 5. don't lie. When we ask what is wrong. Just freaking tells us. don't make us guess or say "oh nothing" or "it's nothing important" when obviously it is. because if you tells us it's nothing we will believe that it's nothing.

No, these are my own stockings I just bought from the store!

For men who think they're superior;

You probably haven't been to court with a woman.

Your wife could beat you senseless hitting you 100+ times... but if you raise a hand in defense and leave a mark of any kind and the neighbors call the cops... you're the one going to jail wether she wants to press charges or not.

The wife can take the children from you, collect child support, alimony, etc ending up with over half your paycheck...because she's a woman.

Men turn on each other over women! Take any male/ female dispute and have a man judge between them (UGH!)

They don't have to put thier ass's on the line in times of war.

They get more opportunities like waitressing, stripping, "secretarial", etc. I say waitressing because the greasy spoons around here will not hire men to wait tables. I was told that by managers. Horny truck drivers and construction workers don't want to be served by anything less than a woman that looks slightly better than them.

Women in this country have the world wrapped around thier fingers.

Has anyone noticed that women tend to be lazier in the workplace, but work much harder in the home? Not to sound sexist... my sisters notice it too.
