my 1st box was a dell. probably 1st and last.
nothing wrong with it.. in fact it still runs
i just like building them myself now.

That is about the most senseless, useless, puddle of verbal diarrhea I've heard in a few weeks!
 
Yeah, "useless" other than the fact that I was a dell certified technician for a year. And FYI, dell contracts ALL their repair work out. As a technician, I quickly realized that you could order 20 identical PCs from Dell, and maybe 2 have the same parts inside, this is senseless and useless if you ask me. How would you like carrying 20 different driver CDs to each PC because you don't know what hardware is in it? IBM, identical order, means identical PC.
