I take it while the conversation between you and rbloedow went well, it didn't go *THAT* well? ;)

Phones are a bit more tolerant of massive geographical distances than relationships are....

:p :p

The conversation went great - it's just, as stated above, a geographical problem :p

Man, I'm glad I'm not in your shoes. Its a nightmare finding a good woman, but the statistics are really set against you. I remember arguing with some one once when I said it must be harder for gay people to meet some one. They said "What are you talking about, there's just as many men as women." No sh|t, but they aren't all gay. :p

Buck up though, there's always porn. They make porn for those of all persuasions!

Seriously, have you tried the intraweb? Sometimes its easier to weed them out there. I guess I have no real advice.

Last night I was thinking about the statistics behind gays meeting other gays.... that also meet certain characteristics. I think that my conclusion was that it's just about as probable that you meet the perfect guy as it is that an 18 wheeler will decide to sprout wings and fly to its next destination.

Idunno about rbloedow, but I've had online profiles on multiple websites for over 4 years now.... of all of those, I've met one guy that I can now call a friend... but it'll never be anything more than that. You can weed people out online... the problem is, over 99% of those people you're weeding out want nothing more than a quick fsck.

I don't usually visit those websties, becuase the internet is full of freaks. But, sometimes you do find good, caring, decent freaks who are a pleasure to talk to :)
