im kickin it old school, i put up a dedicated server for this old school action rpg from westwood. And even pontifex probably likes this game, its so godly

a hand full of people still play, at least 5-10 up at a time.

Since westwood no longer exists, and ea and westwood offer no online support, the game is completely free of charge and no longer requires registering an account, just make one up



Although Westwood no longer exists this game is property of EA and your distribution of such is piracy.

Love this game. I've beaten it as all three classes on singleplayer, but have never played MP.

Been ages since I last played it.

Not to nitpick, but someone holds the rights to the title (EA, I believe), and if they haven't explicitly released the game into the wild (and being EA, I'm not holding my breath), then it's not 'free'. Judging by the CMU URL, it's not an official release.

Having said that, I've rationalized old game acquisitions (such as X-Com: EU, at least until I found it on Steam) using the "no longer supported" argument.

anyhoo, what's th about? I installed, quick play through, looks like Diablo with different character models.

any specific reason to keep playing?

Okay, I'll get the Diabloites storming my front door for heretical teachings, but I much preferred NOX over Diablo. It is a fun, little RPG that IMO opinion beats Diablo.

 
ahh I remember this game. When it came out there was much fuss. I wasn't interested at the time but perhaps now I could give it a try, when I have time.
