Man for such a lame thread you sure are up in arms for it being locked. You act as if something horrible was done to you. It's rather embarrassing IMO.

It is the principle. Why not unlock it then?
OK, locking a thread in ATOT is like the American Revolution. Got it:roll:Originally posted by: thecoolnessrune

The British just through a few extra charges on tea and the colonists got all up in arms about it. That was rather embarrassing too.
It doesn't matter about what its over. What matters is the precedent itself. Locking the thread was just silly and IMO done without putting much thought into it besides the "I know some guy who says this so it must be a callout"
Who cares if one particular user says it alot. If that person's username isn't mentioned then its not a stupid callout thread. Are we going to start locking threads about particular avatars next because they have to do with a whole slew of members that use it?

I figured you'd say that. Either you're being purposefully obtuse, or you fail to come up with a reason that it isn't similar to indeed, the Boston Tea Party. Both of these occurrences were based on the fact that while the vast majority of people get along fine with the mods (as did the americans with the British), but when the vice kept getting squeezed down harder and harder with silly rulings and regulations, the people got fed up with it.
No such thing as a revolution can occur here, but there's no doubt that silly rulings like these will only serve to make the general population more and more discontent with the moderators as a whole, not towards any particular moderator.
Additionally, you're being extremely hypocritical Red. You say Bass is getting up in arms over nothing and yet you hang out in that cesspool of a forum called P&N. You sit there at your computer desk, bantering and bickering and swearing with each other over policies and other silly stuff that *you have no control over*
At least something can be done about this issue, so before you embarrass yourself further, get some perspective. I'm surprised at you sometimes.
