What's going on with this new wave of internet smuggery that's swept AT? People seem to relish ending their posts with "everyone knows this." It's like a haughty, smug little put down that some enjoy slapping on the end of their post. Can you imagine if someone said it in real life? "Yeah Bob, the water cooler is down the hallway by Jerry's office. Everyone knows this." You'd falcon punch them.
This is like the newest iteration of "you fail at xxxx." Another tidbit of net lingo harnessed by net losers to make themselves feel superior to others.
So if you're one of those that punctuates their posts with "Everyone knows this," stop for a moment and think, "what if I were saying this in real life? My god, what a tool am I!"
