Everyone Knows This

What's going on with this new wave of internet smuggery that's swept AT? People seem to relish ending their posts with "everyone knows this." It's like a haughty, smug little put down that some enjoy slapping on the end of their post. Can you imagine if someone said it in real life? "Yeah Bob, the water cooler is down the hallway by Jerry's office. Everyone knows this." You'd falcon punch them.

This is like the newest iteration of "you fail at xxxx." Another tidbit of net lingo harnessed by net losers to make themselves feel superior to others.

So if you're one of those that punctuates their posts with "Everyone knows this," stop for a moment and think, "what if I were saying this in real life? My god, what a tool am I!"

At this time, you may now all post responses cleverly featuring the phrase "everyone knows this."

L2Post; Everyone knows this.

NO. Everyone knows THIS!!!!

People lack creativitiy and originality, so they just barf out whatever meme. It's intellectual laziness. It's the internet version of a girl wearing tights and uggs and spraying on fake tanner. Feel bad for them.

As already mentioned, the flyingtrollpig likes to use it at the end his posts, so people tend to add it just to make fun of him.

Other likely iterations of "everyone knows this:" "It cannot be denied."

the only time I used it was to throw it back at theflyingpig in a thread since he uses on almost every post.

you just posted a baiter thread...do you expect something original from these pointy headed momos? jokes on you.
