If I win the $500 MILLION Megamillions jackpot, I will give each and every US citizen $1 MILLION DOLLARS.

I'm serious about this. I've always wanted to do something that would change the world, and that amount of money is almost unfathomable. I wonder what kind of affect this would have on the economy 😀

Official Rules:

- You must have made below $999,999 on your tax return last year.
- You must be a legal US citizen as of Jan 1st, 2012
- I must win the Megamillions lottery to fund the endeavor.

I figure after taxes and giving out the cash, I will still have $50-$100 million left, and that's enough to live like a super-villain for the rest of my life.

How so? I figure around 275-300 million people will qualify for this, and if the money is moved to a foundation to distribute the cash, it will provide a tax shelter.

EDIT: You'll need 275,000,000,000,000, i.e., 275T dollars.

Lump sum would take it down to $250MM then after taxes say $140MM.

But if you did give everyone a million dollars, think of how many would be bankrupt within a year. Plus the inflation that would follow.

LOL, just screwing with everyone. This is something my daughter said this morning when I was taking her to school 🙂 She has a big heart, but not very good with numbers.

You just have to make sure those who get the money pass it around fast enough.

Let me guess... each person will have to give your their bank account and routing number so you can move money out of the country and they get to keep $1 million for you borrowing their account. Because now you are some rich nigerian prince or something.
