. i've been playing alot more real life lately and less games, just cuz what the last great game was... oblivion? and the next great game will be... NWN2? Followed by Crysis? Yea. Slim pickins.

Games I'm playing at moment are Titan's Quest,Galactica Civilizations 2,I'm waiting for my Darkstar One game to arrive sometime today or tomorrow.

Games to look out for down the road are Gothic 3 (if you like Oblivion then this game is for you and my personal favourite),Hellgate:London,Dark Messiah of Might and Magic,Neverwinter Nights 2,UFO-Extraterrestrials.

Once they sort out the final release dates for the above games,I'll have some heavy gaming to enjoy.

get good at a competitive mp game and you'll never get tired of pwning newbs. i'd also suggest joining a clan as it makes playing a lot more fun. people are still playing ut and q3 for this reason (~7yr old games).

I like it for the simplicity in gameplay while constant alertness is still invaluable. It's not always the game with the most complexity thats the most enjoyable.

Are those on PC? I've been contemplating getting another PS2, cuz my last 4 DIED, and after the 4th one, i just said,, ok thats it ,,, my eyes are bleeding, and sold them.

I played Eve Online since launch, great game, I just dont have the time for it, after I finally left that addiction, its been all single player games, shooters mainly. Fear, half-life, far cry, ghost recon.

Now, i'm looking for more content, Oblivion, Titan Quest... RPG types. I'm waiting for Team Fortress 2 and Portals. After that, BF2142 looks good, I just hope they test their game this time around.

Yea very looking up for this one. NFS BE was just like,, ehhh,, good graphix minus the FUGLY shadow, but ran 60vsync solid without the shadow on 1680x1050 with 6x/16xhq, so i guess i can't complain.

Hope they improve the shadows.

Yes that was a gREAT game, like I was obsessed until my comp detonated,, I DIDN"T KNOW THAT the remote bomb thing did that, i thought it kills the enemy and not the comp LOL

i'm thinking of picking up an RTS. but non so far seem to captivate me like starcraft did. WCIII was decent,, but u don't get many combination of units per race so that got old fast.

Just downloaded the Company of Heroes beta a few days ago. While RTS is really not my thing I have been having a lot of fun with this. It's the first top down game I've enjoyed since the commandos series (god only knows what they were thinking when they changed to FPS). I can't really play competitively online but I have high hopes for the SP once COH is released.

The only things I see coming up that really interest me are:

2142 (eh.....we'll see, not expecting much here)
ETQW (I have high expectations here, Enemy Territory was one of my most played games)
Spore (damn do we REALLY have to wait till the latter part of 2007 for this?)
W.E.B.L.E.W.I.T (otherwise known as stalker)
Halo2 PC (yeah, still waiting I have not played the console version)

yeah thoes games are for PC but people didn't play them because they played crappy doom 3 or Quake 4.

Comany of hero sucked because tiger tank was so easy to destroy when they claimed it would be all realistic

Bioshock , out all the crap like Half life 2 , Farcry , Doom 3 , Quake 4 , Prey , Fear and what ever ... this game totally owns well i saw at e3 and it was supper awesome.
Mass effect : watch the trailer and you know why you want to love this game
Darkness : Developer that made Riddick escape from butcher bay is about to make a supper awesome game
Supreme commander : Going to best RTS ever massive battle
Halo 3 : I need to know how the game ends
Motor Forza 2 : love playing online gaming game
Metal Gear Solid 4 : must know how the story ends
ET Quake War : the game to beat EA BF franchise , Bf1942 still will have a place in my heart
FF 12 : i love final fantasy series
Gears of War : Hype to be something new and 3rd person and has a new stop and pop gameplay
Zelda TP : Zelda games has never been crap

Out of that list i just know one game wouldn't fail to live up to hype and that game is Bioshock the game to be really take the Gameplay bar to a whole new level

Just downloaded Darwinia.. I don't get how i'm suppose to transport the Darwinians across the mini continents when they won't go into the radar transport beam..???

Very good looking game at 1680x1050 no prob with AA AF either,, like it's very,, "Art-sy" Love those trees,, really accents the map.

Have you found the officer research cube yet? It lets you make darwinian officers (F3 key) which can order the rest where you please, including through radar beams.

I just beat Darwinia this morning, overall a fun game.

as far as i can tell, the scenes are rendered real time. It's a fantastic game, great story and puzzles. My only gripe is that it crashes sometimes, so it's a good idea to save often.

Honestly though my favorite game is probably WARLORDS IV. Turn based strategy with very little micro-management. Now if they would just bring back the keyboard shortcuts...

its in the options/settings...the game is kinda nice as it lets you put widescreen/the max resolutions your monitor can handle.

the bf2142 beta is coming out soon, should be fun..... as long as they actually tried to debug it, then again, it is only beta, prob will be worse than bf2. if u are into 2d rpgs, maple story is great, but only starts to really get fun after like a month or so, u have to really be into it... but i am.

I've been playing a lot of old games lately, mainly Freespace 2 (SCP version), Descent 2 (D2X-XL) and a bunch of old Mac games through the Basilisk emulator. I have played D2 multiplayer games with some people on another forum regularly during the last few weeks and it's been awesome. I want to also go through Deus Ex: Invisible War another time soon, especially since I can finally run it decently.

I think I have more than enough stuff to hold me over until the games I'm waiting for start to come out.
