I got this comp, the one in my sig,, and i realized recently that the only game i really enjoy playing was still HALO pc. Now every other game is just UGHHhhh.. I'm soo bored by the games coming out these days, does not captivate me.

What are u guys playing..

Baldur's Gate and NeverWinter Nights (community created modules) at the moment. I got tired of raiding in WoW and the current state of games, so I looked to the past and I found a few gems.

haha blame EA. and then blame WoW. but mostly blame the economy. i've been playing alot more real life lately and less games, just cuz what the last great game was... oblivion? and the next great game will be... NWN2? Followed by Crysis? Yea. Slim pickins.

Well, soccer is getting really boring, cuz u can only play like an hour at most before you're drenched in sweat and BORED again, and u neeed shower before u can do anything else,, real life is SOOO inconvieniant. probably why i started vid games.
 
what are you talking about recently? its been this was for the last 5 years at least.

i play CoD2 mp a good bit.
Titan Quest occupied my time for a little while. Gun is a really great and fun (but short) game.
 
CS:S. I used to play Oblivion, fun but takes up too much up your time, so I quit that game, along with WoW. I'm also playing through Far Cry and Titan Quest at the moment, great games. I also picked up GTA:SA again, AWESOME game. Pirates! was fun, but it gets old after a while.

i just downloaded safecracker,, OMG this is HARD.. but i'd suggest giving it a try.. pretty good puzzles..

i'm thinking of picking up an RTS. but non so far seem to captivate me like starcraft did. WCIII was decent,, but u don't get many combination of units per race so that got old fast.

try the warhammer: dawn of war demos... there are 2 - one for DOW and one for the expansion, Winter Assault
 
Heavy amounts of Enemy Territory. Lately I've been playing the original Tribes again. Great game, but the Heavy Armor/Chaingunners need to die horribly. If you can find it, try Uplink. It's a "hacking" game where you break into systems, fram people, steal data ectera. There's also a decent story to it where you can choose between saving the net or destroying it.
 
I recently started playing SWAT 4 - click link for a review. I rather like it, not just because it got some good reviews but also because it's different than a typical FPS; you can fail missions for killing the wrong people and it's really geared toward detaining and/or arresting people. Plus you get to use guns you don't find in other games like tazers and bean-bag shotguns.. emphasis on non-lethal. 😉 I get a few friend over for mini lan parties - it's great. 🙂
 
it got so bad . . . the last good FPS was Riddick . . . that i switched to RPGs

Oblivion is a great action-adventure RPGish Fantasy Hybred with FPS fighting that kept me occupied for over 1,000 hours . . . and now i am playing with the user mods . . . pretty fun and the best outdoor gfx of the new games.

also B&W2 . ... God Game/RTS hybred. ONLY if you like micromanaging *everything* is it recommended.
 
i hear ya. I've switched over to Single Player Games. Only current Multiplayer game I still play is BF2 and the only reason why I still play it is because I play with my clansmate. If I was solo, all the buggs would have made me quit.

I played Eve Online since launch, great game, I just dont have the time for it, after I finally left that addiction, its been all single player games, shooters mainly. Fear, half-life, far cry, ghost recon.

Now, i'm looking for more content, Oblivion, Titan Quest... RPG types. I'm waiting for Team Fortress 2 and Portals. After that, BF2142 looks good, I just hope they test their game this time around.

I wish call of duty 2 had Base Assault 🙁
