I had started out this day hoping that everyone would forget, hoping that I'd be left to my work so that I may quietly spend the evening alone. I went out to lunch with my parents, they're so very nice to me and I came home and found that luckily neither Mike nor Matt had posted about the occaision on the front page. Whew I thought, I went back to work when my dear Amy came over and brought me a cake that she had made (she makes the best cheesecakes) and a book about a certain car manufacturer that I am partial to. "Ok" I thought, a few people called to wish me a happy birthday but nothing too out of hand. Then I saw the first email come in, I thought that maybe someone had remembered. I checked the site, no site news post, whew

Then the second email came in, and the third, the fourth and pretty soon I figured out that maybe someone posted in the forums.
After proceeding to yell at Mike and Matt for conspiring together, I thanked them and after reading the responses here I've got to thank you all as well. We all have our ups and downs, but it's amazing what a couple of words from someone you've never met before can do for you. I really want to thank you all for the posts, the emails and the kind wishes. Never let there be a doubt in your mind that the reason why I'm here today is because of people like you and because of posts like this.
Also, don't thank me for the forums; it's just my name, the real people that bring this place to you are the Moderators. While they're annonymous they are always reading, always working and very rarely do they get the credit they deserve. Of course Jason Clark (Zuni) keeps this place running like a dream as well. And of course, yourselves - since you are the ones that make this community what it is. Those are the people you should be thanking.
Thanks again for the kind words, I wish I had more to offer you than this short post but I hope the message is clear. Thanks so much
Take care,
Anand
