wow, you really do not get the point.

NO, it is not OK for you to call a black man the N-word. but you are free to do so if you wish to. and the black community will be offended, which they are entitled to and call you something back. This happens every day , but rarely do you see black people cutting off the heads of someone because they said the n-word.

What is not right is for you to not say it (if you really wanted to for some reason) , just because you're afraid that you will be hunted down and killed for it. you're being forced to not express your views ( it does not matter if they're right or not ) just because someone else thinks he has the right to kill you for having those views.

I'm sick of the idea that somehow Islam is more sacred than any other religion. It's not. Oh god we don't want to offend them or say anything insensitive! Whatever. Jesus has a reoccurring role on South Park as a bumbling idiot yet peoples' collective panties bunch up at the thought of drawings of Mohammed.

I know I'm going home tonight and drawing Mohammed as Gargamel from the Smurfs.

WTF... what is the context? Why would someone show such an obviously offensive video to a room full of Muslims? Did he trick them into coming in to see it?

I also think a lot of Muslims overreact to criticism but seriously, you don't see people walking around dressed in KKK robes just to test the limits of their free speech or see how far they can push others before violence erupts. I wouldn't want to see the Facebook group disbanded just to avoid offending people, but I don't see the appeal of participating either.

What really bothers me is when Muslims force their religion on our society. They threaten non-Muslims who do innocuous things that just happen to offend them. Like how a lot of Muslim taxi drivers refuse to pick up people carrying alcohol or blind people with guide dogs, to name one example. Muslims need to learn to integrate into society but at the same time society needs to be willing to make reasonable compromises. Censorship is not one of those compromises.

Last thing is that when someone overreacts, it just causes others to try harder to push their buttons. Everyone does it, especially when they're children! Islam is in a constant state of humorless overreaction and it's just making everyone want to go after them. Christians, Jews, and atheists have no trouble making fun of themselves.
