Another edit- I remember seeing some series as a little kid that was popular back in the day. I think it was called Tour of Duty. It was either in Vietnam or Korea.

Ooh good movie. I actually bought it at a grocery store cause it was very cheap. Don't think I've watched it from DVD lol, but I've seen in on TV a few times.

Both the movie and the show were set in Korea. They used it as a platform to criticize the Vietnam war, but both were set in Korea.

My Dad fought in Korea and he said that the MASH unit depicted in Hollywood was more like Vietnam than Korea. But, it supposedly took place in Korea for the story line.

And what about First Blood and First Blood Part II? I know it wasn't set during the war, but he was who he was becasue of the war.
