All the packs they sell stay at their price, sometimes they're even show up on weekend sales. I can't see them raising the price on it.

I haven't tried with this pack because I have every game on the list, but with other packages I've been able to gift the games I've owned and not just the Half-Life games mentioned. When you click on purchase, it scans your games and if you have them it asks if you'd like to gift it.

I didn't buy this pack but I have all the games on the pack. I've had steam since day one and it's been perfect for me. All the games are great and I visit HL1 and CS1.6 from time to time. You can even catch up one some of the greatest shooters ever made on this pack.
 
This is THE pack if you are planning on buying any valve game. DOD:S is extremely fun and is a great shooter. CS:S is still the shooter of choice for PC gamers. TF2 is really addictive and just flat-out fun. I cant really get into the Half-Life series but most people like it. Portal is very innovative.

Idk guys, this just IS the pack to buy.

You most likely cannot gift any of them. I bought the pack thinking this and they are offering me a refund if I buy the pack for another account which I did. If the games where giftable they would have just told me to transfer them to the other account like I wanted to originally.

I'm married and have a 3yo daughter. Just finished the witcher, started fallout 3, and still have the newest call of duty and red alert games to play. If i buy this pack i think my wife will kill me 🙂
 
if you are new to Steam this is a great deal. But if you are new to Steam, then you must of been under a rock for the last couple of years.
 
Yeah thats pretty crazy deal. If I didnt have most of those already, id buy that in a second.

Left4dead alone is a $40-$50 value.... and to be honest TF2 is like one of the best games in the past 5 years so....
 
Huh. I wonder if I can find someone to gift me CS: Source. I play the original CS off of a Half-Life disk my step dad got for buying some ATI card in 1998. Never played Source.

Sadly you cannot gift CS:S with this pack, just the HL 2 games.
