I'm from MA and never heard it called that? Are you from the western half? I've always called a "sub" a "sub"

 
it's about 3.50/grinder. i brush my eeth afterwards. i'm tdrunk now i hthink. I'm from western MA, yes, and if you're from MA and call them Subs you need to go back to NY,

When I lived in Pennsylvania we called grinders "hoagies". I've always preferred that term... I gave my gf a hoagie and she loved it. 😛
