The object is to destroy the blocks. "Z" blows yourself up to destroy them. However, you may only have a certain number of them (check lower-right corner). You can get more by making combinations. When you blow up, so do the blocks in your blast radius... and the blocks in that block's blast radius, etc. Create chains of explosions. The bigger the chain, the more points. Destroy the green/pink blocks to get power-ups.

but i found this game so addicting -D
must .. get ... yellow ... time ... extender ... thing ......

btw, it helps to look at the replay and watch how he (i think?) managed to get the high scores -D
