Every big download has CRC errors!

Everytime I download something in either firefox or IE (tried both because i was haveing this problem) I have CRC errors during extraction or if its just an EXE it gives some other error.

What is the cause of this? It happened like 10 times on three different demos (about 300mb each) and they were all from different servers.

I also noticed my newsgroup downloads getting F'ed up too.

Is this a ram problem????

hmm thats interesting..... thanks

my ram IS bad , however it works now that i took that bad peice out and only run 512mb. (one piece of the 1gb kit is really bad, the one im running on temporarily is fine now that its a little underclocked).

and now that i think about it, i installed the stupid nforce firewall when i loaded the new nforce drivers, i never had that before. i dont run it however. i have it set to disabled and use the windows firewall. im gonna try uninstalling it now though just to be on the safe side.

God damn NVIDIA! I uninstalled the NON-OPERATIONAL firewall software I had installed for thier built in hardware and guess what. IT WORKS.

Thats so ridiculous that it does this. They really should fix this. I WASNT EVEN USING THIER FIREWALL! I HAD WINDOWS FIREWALL STILL ON!

GRRRRR.

Thanks a lot for pointing that out mzkhadir!
