What the heil? Swastika found in House Republican's office.
(From the Daily Kos)

Republican lawmakers have been screaming for weeks that anyone who calls their party fascist is responsible for political violence across the country.

And yet, on Wednesday, a GOP lawmaker from Ohio was caught with a swastika in his office—a symbol appropriated by Adolf Hitler’s’ Nazi Party and one that white supremacists continue to use as a sign of their hatred today.

Republican Rep. Dave Taylor of Ohio denounced the swastika, which was spotted on Wednesday on a wall in the background of a videoconferencing call that a constituent had with one of Taylor's congressional aides. The swastika appeared as part of an altered American flag, with the flag’s red stripes forming a swastika in the middle.

Loved this Bluesky response: "Really depressed that my parents never had any kids. Gonna talk to my siblings and see how they feel about this shocking development."

I cannot wait to see how MAGA men, especially young ones, handle the "50% of the sperm count, 50% of the testosterone of a 65 year old man." I don't think they are a group who will handle any admittance of low testosterone gracefully, if at all. :D

As to the female maturity thing, 6 or 7 years would have put me, my daughter and both my granddaughters at age 4 to 5.

He's either incredibly stupid, incredibly unaware or both.

Another one for the protected list?

An Ohio pastor was charged with child rape two years after he opposed a book series he said wrongfully encouraged children to "explore their sexuality."

Silas Shelton, 52, who lives in Warren County and serves as a pastor at Blanchester Community Ministries in Clinton County, was arrested on Oct. 15. He faces charges including child rape and sexual battery after a detective said he abused a minor over a period of about six years.

Certainly a disaster of biblical proportion, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria.

"We’re already getting to work in key states to make sure every Republican vote is safe and secure."

Yup. Every Republican vote plus a couple of extras here and there.

Republican Elizabeth Ann Davis has been found guilty of voter fraud for casting ballots for both her late ex-husband and son in the 2022 general election.

That's the second one I've read about in the past few days.

Danielle Christine Miller, 51, of Nashwauk, in a rural area about three hours north of Minneapolis, was charged last fall with three felonies after local election officials notified authorities in October about two absentee ballots that had been flagged for fraud. One of those was from a registered voter who had died, Miller's mother.

Remember when Trump bitched about Biden's use of the autopen and even ordered an inquiry into it? Well...

"The Justice Department posted pardons online bearing identical copies of President Donald Trump’s signature before quietly correcting them this week after what the agency called a 'technical error.”'

That one actually gets worse. Much worse. NSFL in spoiler.

A suspended county magistrate is accused of sexually abusing children in his West Ashley neighborhood and planning to travel to Florida to molest and allegedly kill an infant with another man, according to a new filing from federal prosecutors.

James B. Gosnell Jr., 68, is expected to be charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor in state court after federal investigators searched his phone and found lengthy Telegram conversations he had with suspected pedophiles.

In those conversations, he allegedly admitted to abusing children in his care, traveling internationally to molest children and offering training to others, according to a Sept. 22 filing by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for South Carolina.

“The conversations detailed the children … that Gosnell had raped and abused, and formed plans for Gosnell to travel to Florida in November to rape and potentially (kill) a very young child. All of this was done while he served as a judge for Charleston County,” a detention hearing brief reads.
