everlasting yact: Bosch Spark Wires or Duralast Double Silicone...

being confused as ever by brand names and their marketing power, I don't know which brand to choose from:
the highly regarded Bosch Spark Wires: $54.99
or the common man's Duralast Double Silicone: $34.99

I am not looking for performance, I just want to pass smog with every bit of advantage I could get. The Autozone salesperson said it doesn't really matter, as he recommended me the Denso spark plugs against the Bosch Double Sparks Plugs. (my OEM plugs are Densos I suppose, and I see 'Denso' written on my iginition coil).
At first I was determined to get the Bosch Plugs AND Wires; but now I am thrown back to the very beginning of confusion.

it doesn't LOOK worn out or rusted or burned, but I did have to scrape off some white stuff off one of the terminals

the top and bottom part of the copper side looks fine, no major burn or rust. but on the 'blade' side it looks like it has been scraping against the terminals or something, there are 'scars' or marks. (my camera skills is equally lacking, i don't know how to take close up pics)

the 'blade' is not copper but white color.

bosch... but bosch is OEM on my car anyways
they're probably $200 from the dealer, but I think they're only $35-40 from independent resalers..

Nah...inline six. 10.4mm wires make up the bulk of that price.

you have TEH Skyline??? oh noes!!! 🙂

hehe, you got the one with a 2JZ-GTE? or, the M3?

No.....right now I have a 3.1 stroker turbo (L28ET) in a 76z. After it gets painted I have a rb26DETT that will be going in it.

Lately the dealer seems to have the best prices for tune up parts. I just saved $50 on a set of platinum plugs for my ride.
