For those who follow baseball, you'll know that Carl Everett of the Red Sox gotten 10 games suspension and an undisclosed amount for fine. This is crap!!!! I don't think he should get that many games and fine. First of all, if it wasn't that dirty manager, Bobby Valentine, no one would notice the difference. Many players break the rule sometime in their career when batting, but most get away with it. I'm sure a lot of players step out of the batters box when they bat, but that is rarely enforced. Then this incident pops up....Bobby Valentine, that dirty SOB, brings up this detail to the manager, and the umpire, Kulpa, decides to pay attention to that detail rather than really focusing on the game. If the umpire really wants to do his job right, then why doesn't he enforce it w/ all the players? But instead, it was focused on Everett. Obviously, people are going to get irate.... after all, why was this brought up in the first place? Is it because the Mets suck soooo bad that they need to find some lame brain way to win? Oh by the way, for those lame ass out there, the Mets lost that game. Another thing, I think the umpire is just as at fault as Everett. There is no need for an umpire to get into a players face at the same time. They should walk away from the player to avoid confrontations. They are paid to call the game, not to create confrontations. If Kulpa walked away, the managers or players would of restrained him and none of this would of happen. But because Kulpa wanted to flex some muscles, he got into the player's face. Why should someone even follow the game anymore when the umpires are calling the game for someone else's interest? Man.... all this really piss me off....
