Ever worked in a job you could never tell anyone about?

Yeah, when I worked at McDonald's, I couldn't tell anyone how many people ate meat that was dropped on the floor or sat around for over 2 hours and then reheated. It's a trade secret and you don't rat out the big McD and get away with it.

What kind of job doesn't have some kind of NDA and non compete nowadays?
When I leave where I currently where I am pretty sure I'll have 1000's of pages of stuff to shred.

Dang, I didn't know Vietnam had Mr.Miyagi money.

Example of jobs you can't tell anyone about: Work for a top secret government agency, security for some companies.

Example of jobs you don't want to tell anyone about: Janitor in an adult bookstore, packer in a factory that makes fudge.

i thought for a second this was a serious thread. :/

i worked in a QA company and the NDA was so complicated that essentially i'd just not say anything to anyone.
some guy even got fired for saying "i work on such and such game" on Facebook. but then again, i would fire anyone who uses Facebook (and didn't go to Harvard),so, profit!

I work with a very prominent company and know a lot of interesting stuff, but due to various NDA's in place I just avoid the Mobile Devices & Gadgets forum.

My whole life has been that way...one job after another...one government after another.....can`t say a word......sorry!

Have worked a job I can't talk about. Clearance was necessary. This job was in the aerospace industry. Did work a job that required all employes to sign a NDA.

I worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratories when the Mars rovers were built but can't go into detail about what I did, and my grandfather worked on classified projects for Lockheed.

There have been quite a few job sites where I have not been allowed to discuss things there.

Part of just being a Network Engineer though is dealing with NDA's quite often.
