I read the rest of this thread hoping someone would mention something along these lines!

It was freaky and reminded me of something, but I couldn't picture what. Looked evil though, like it wasn't happy that a camera was invading its secluded life.
 
When I was 10 or so, I had a scope examination similar to what was just shown, sans the strobe-analysis. The doctor was cool and halfway through the procedure, he asked, "Wanna have a look?" and I got to look at my own vocal cords in motion 😀
