Anyway this is neither about Bush nor kerry TYVM.

True enough, but I'm so sick of hearing about how great unions are. If they really were for the working class, why aren't they doing more with the huge amounts of money they take in?

If the Corporate Thugs were treating what's left of their workforces here properly do you think there would need to be any need for Unions???

People as a rule (inexplicable, but consistently true) are corrupt, at every level of society.

Poor people, Middle-income people, rich people, super-rich people. No exceptions. Sorry if this offends anyones virgin sensibility--but that is the way it is.

The question is, how does the realization that people are by nature corrupt--relate to union bosses, corporate thugs, and politicians, etc.

Very simply:

Here in the U.S. The people in power make-up the rules--and the rules always lean in the favor of people in power, vis-a-vis corruption.

Here in the U.S., Money = power.

To sum-up...

Corrupt people with money--stack the rules in their favor. Deny it.
Corrupt people without money--get to complain. It does no good.

I was in a union a long time ago as a banquet server in college.

I enjoyed making $1000-1200 a 16-20hr DAY (17% of till manditory) and enjoyed having the union skim $350 of the top every month. Worth every penny they were paid as everyone in life is. My non-union counterparts in the waiter industry were lucky to make $200 a day and had to buy thier benefits.

You go boys. You need some juice to get in the culinary union...to get there your attitude and heart must change..
