Kind of gives you an Idea of how much noise they make if you want to buy!

Any of you play all of them at once?

more like what kind of noises it makes not how much noise it makes.

if they make the mic a bit farther away, have recording volume sliders at different levels it could make some hs/f sound louder/quieter than they should

edit: for loudness, we'll still have to rely on manufactures' dB specs.

But you get an idea in comparison how much one is louder than the rest. I find my GORB noisy, glad I don't have the Alpha.

Heh... I don't have a sound card at work but I'm curious how my FOP38 I sleep 8 feet from compares to the rest :)

FOP38?

I couldn't sleep with even when the casing was covered and it was 3 feet from me. It was impossible for me to blot out the noise in the silence of the night. Got the alpha and it was bliss.

I thought that was pretty awesome too! I have a Chrome Orb on my TBird and the chrome orb mp3 sample sounds exactly like mine!

Cool site Office Boy!

Now I understand some of the comments about the high pitch of HS/fans like the FOPs... :)

Hi and thanks for the flowers ! You can easy compare the loudness if you know the dB of your own fan.
Only one problem was the damn blowing wind which made my micro crazy :)
And i compared all dB values with my sound program so the differences between all fans should be right !;)
