Ever wonder what happens when one of those BIIIG dump trucks gets a flat?

It looks like the rock they put on it was too heavy. That didn't just happen as it was rolling along, as can be explained by the 3rd pic.
 
That doesn't really look like a flat.....

The tire sidewalls are not strong enough on their own to hold the truck + that load up at all.

I think the truck was just overloaded.
 
It looks like what happened was the load shifted. That large rock probably went back and to the side as it was making the left hand turn.

I was thinking the same thing, but maybe it was just the weight of that rock caused the bed to grind into the tire which caused the flat. The bed looks to be listing heavily to one side (for obvious reasons.)

Komatsu of that size should have no problems hauling that load they can haul up to 190 to 300 tons, just the tire alone
will be costing an easy 20 to 30k

If you think that's something just imagine the bit of machinery that lifted that rock on to the truck in the first place.
