Hmm..will a dealer disclose info of possible damage if you ask and they know about it? Or will they always say, "of course not, it was no damage! Brand new!"

Oh, and a nice facility. I wanna work there...:p

Man, I can't get over how sweet the six series looks! Argh why Can't I make 20 grand more a year.

It was pretty cool to use BMW's tracking feature when my dad ordered his 325....you could see approx where it was at all times, from germany to here. Sweet.

Cosmoline is a nasty greasy substance that is a REAL pain to remove, would be a pain for dealerships to do it. I used to have to install machinery and all the exposed metal was covered in that crap and I hated trying to remove it.

I believe it can as long as the buyer is made aware of the situation. You have to consider that it will be repaired at a BMW repair shop, so we must assume that these people know what they are doing. ;)
