i used to get really dark scratches and marks on my back when i lived at home. the house was haunted though. one time i was in the dining room with my family and felt a burning sensation on my right shoulder. i took off my shirt and to everyone's horror a W was being scratched into my shoulder right before everyone's eyes.

after i moved out i never woke up with scratches/marks on my back ever again. i think the worst was waking up and feeling like someone beat me with bags of nickels in my sleep.

I wake up with bruises and welts all the time without knowing how I got them. Then I realize I don't know how I got back to my bed from the party I was at, I slept in the clothes I was wearing the night before, and its 4pm in the afternoon.
