Ever use dry mount tissue paper for photos?

I'm planning to dry mount some photos I had printed, but the tissue paper I have is 8x10, whereas some of the photos are larger (18x12). Will it be more difficult to mount/turn out poorly if I use multiple sheets of tissue for a single photo?
